Born in the midst of a plague, we set out to build a space to create and record sounds. A space for bands, musicians and creatives to escape the world and be inspired by music. We sold our recording studio of over 10 years in Nashville TN and decided to move our lives to Chicago. We had no idea what that journey would be like, but we are so happy to be exactly where we are. We hope when you visit you feel the same.

Growing up in the Midwest, Geoff’s love for music started with DJing, vinyl collecting, and the 90’s House music community happening in the midwest. After High School, he moved to Atlanta to pursue his passion for music and grow his knowledge of music recording. Geoff has a degree in Audio Engineering with a minor in Electro Acoustics.
In 2010 he opened his own recording studio in Nashville, Electric Thunder Studios. Some of his past clients include: Warner Music, Elektra Records, Universal Music, Trina Shoemaker, The Wood Brothers, Murder by Death, Hanson, Natalie Grant, New Found Glory, Jet Black Alley Cat, Tyler Bryant, ELEL, Bendigo Fletcher, Voltage Hawk, Doyle Bramhall II, Butterfly Boucher, Sea Witch, Truth & Salvage, Yelawolf, Jeff Crosby, DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia.
Geoff runs the studio with his wife Brit and together they hope to create a studio atmosphere that combines a pro audio experience with vibes and hospitality. They are excited to be a part of the rich and diverse music community happening in Chicago.
